Behind the scenes with… @girlwithbellsandwhistles
Within a very short time of moving into their London terraced house, the Warris family began planning a kitchen extension. “It was a typical Victorian kitchen – a narrow room located at the back of the house that seriously lacked storage and prep space,” recalls fashion influencer Kirsty of @girlwithbellsandwhistles. “Plus it was very dark, which is a pet hate of mine. I love lots of natural light!”
To create a bigger kitchen without sacrificing too much of their garden, Kirsty and her husband extended out to the side of the house. The addition of patio doors allows the family to enjoy the outside all year round, while large roof lights boost natural light levels.
