Where Lisa Hensby Design & Build Studio started
Lisa came to us already with a strong roster of celebrity clients and years of hands-on design work behind her, but with no brand and no public profile of her own: no logo, no website, no press cuttings, nothing to point a journalist to. She had spent so long building the business and looking after her clients that she had never had the time to build anything for herself. Everything you now recognise as the Lisa Hensby brand, we built from scratch, from the first sketch of the logo onward.
What we did
From the ground up: we built the brand, then the materials to sell it. Brand identity came first: logo, colour palette, typography, brand book and a defined tone of voice. Then the brand collateral that makes it feel finished in a client’s hands, including her client welcome pack. Then the commercial materials: a partnership pack to attract collaborators and a sponsorship pack to fund her podcast, Heart & Home, which we developed and launched with her. We built and launched her website. Alongside it all, we built her media profile from nothing, securing coverage in Closer, Your Home, Ideal Home, HomeStyle, KBB, House Beautiful, Livingetc and That’s Life, put her on the speaking circuit including a panellist slot at Decorex, and assist on her shoots so the imagery is always up to standard.
Where Lisa Hensby Design & Build Studio is now
Over 70 pieces of coverage since 2025, in titles including House Beautiful, Ideal Home and Livingetc. A complete brand in place, from the identity to the partnership and sponsorship packs that sell it. The website is built and live, and season one of Heart & Home is out. Lisa is increasingly in demand as a voice in the industry, sought out for comment and steadily building the public profile to match the reputation she already had with her clients.

"When I came to Interiors InsideOut I had years of work and clients I was proud of, but no brand, no website and not a single piece of press. Sophie and Ruth built all of it with me, from the first sketch of the logo to the website, then put my work in front of the right journalists. My projects now appear in House Beautiful, Ideal Home and Livingetc, I’m asked for comment, I’ve spoken on a panel at Decorex and season one of my podcast, Heart & Home, is out. They understood what I wanted to say before I did."

Ledbury Studio
Ledbury Studio shows what happens when we hold a brand steady through years of growth.

Where Ledbury Studio started
Ledbury Studio's founder, Charlie Smallbone, was already a well-known name in kitchen design, with a career and reputation built over decades. What he did not have was a partner to handle the press and profile for the new venture he was building. We were there from the moment Ledbury Studio launched in 2019, and have grown alongside it ever since.
What we did
We have kept Ledbury Studio consistently in the press as it scaled, securing coverage in KBB, Livingetc, Homes & Gardens, House & Garden, The English Home, Elle Decoration, Country Life, The Times and The Telegraph. We have held the brand and its voice steady and coherent through years of growth, and produced the ongoing content that carried the studio from a new name to an established one.
Where Ledbury Studio is now
Over 700 pieces of coverage across seven years, including The Times, The Telegraph, Homes & Gardens, Livingetc and Country Life, a two-episode feature on Channel 5's Dream Kitchens & Bathrooms, and seven design awards won since starting. A brand that has stayed recognisably itself through years of growth, with us as the constant behind the scenes.

They are highly responsive, efficient and proactive, particularly in their relationships with journalists and the wider design press. Ashley Wilde Group
Several brands under one roof, one press office, and each of them still sounding like itself.

Where Ashley Wilde Group started
Ashley Wilde Group came to us in July 2025 with a portfolio of home textile brands, including Bluebellgray, William Morris At Home, Laura Ashley, Designers Guild and KAI. Each has its own look, its own customer and its own place in the market. The brief was to get the collections into the pages shoppers actually use, and to keep every brand sounding like itself when it got there.
What we did
We run the press office across the group: product placed in bedding, curtain and soft furnishing edits, seasonal trend features and shopping round-ups, with samples and imagery ready for every request. We launched the new Historic Royal Palaces collaboration in 2026, and have placed the brands in The Telegraph, The Independent, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens, Livingetc, Ideal Home and The English Home.
Where Ashley Wilde Group is now
36 pieces of print and online coverage in the first 15 months, across 15 titles, from national newspapers to the interiors monthlies and the trade press. The group now has a press office that knows every brand in the portfolio and keeps each one in front of the right readers.

Karndean
Taking an already well-known name and making its press presence and imagery sharper still.
Read the full case studyClose the case study
Where Karndean started
Karndean came to us already well known, and having worked with PR before. The brief was different from a launch: more reach, better coverage, and a sharper visual standard to match the quality of the product. Press quotes were coming from the marketing manager, which is exactly the kind of corporate line journalists tend to avoid running. What Karndean needed was a genuine spokesperson: a design voice with real expertise, someone the press would actually want to quote.
What we did
We secured coverage in KBB, Period Living, enki, Livingetc, Country Homes & Interiors, Homes & Gardens, Homes & Interiors Scotland, Ireland's Homes Interiors & Living and Ideal Home, and worked closely with the team to raise the standard of the imagery going out to press. We also made the case for a different kind of spokesperson, someone talking design and trends rather than corporate lines.
Where Karndean is now
In 2025 alone, that meant more than 1.1 million in print circulation across 51 pieces. We developed a genuine spokesperson, moving press quotes on from the marketing team to a design authority journalists actually want to quote. Karndean now enjoys a stronger, more consistent press presence, supported by a sharper image library that works as hard across their own channels as it does in the magazines.

Roca
A global bathroom name with its own marketing team, and a press office working as part of it. Add LAUFEN and Roca Group corporate news, and the total since 2022 passes 1,100 pieces.
Read the full case studyClose the case study
Where Roca started
Roca came to us in 2022 as one of the best-known bathroom brands in the world, with its own marketing department and decades of brand equity behind it. We were brought on to support that department directly: not to build a profile from nothing, but to run the day-to-day press office it needed, working as an extension of the in-house team rather than a bolted-on agency.
What we did
We handle consumer and trade press for Roca, launching new collections as they land and keeping coverage consistent between launches. We pitch stories and expert comment before anyone asks, supply quotes when a journalist needs one against a deadline, and support photoshoots when they are needed. In 2026 alone that has put Roca in Wallpaper*, Ideal Home, House Beautiful, The World of Interiors and The Independent, as well as trade titles from KBB to Specify & Build.
Where Roca is now
More than 550 pieces of coverage since 2022, across consumer, trade and hospitality titles, and coverage in every month of 2026 so far. A standing press office that runs as part of the marketing department's work, with proactive comment and photoshoot support alongside it as a matter of course.

LAUFEN
A Swiss design brand, kept in the titles architects and designers actually read.
Read the full case studyClose the case study
Where LAUFEN started
LAUFEN came to us in 2022 as an established Swiss bathroom brand with more than a century of design behind it and its own in-house marketing team. It sits in the same group as Roca but is an independent brand, with its own identity and an audience that leans towards architects, designers and specifiers. We were brought on to run its press office alongside the in-house team, and to keep that identity distinct.
What we did
We handle consumer and trade press for LAUFEN, launching new collections as they land, including Peter Wirz's PRO X collection in 2026, and keeping coverage steady between launches. We place comment both proactively and against journalists' deadlines, and support photoshoots when they are needed. In 2026 that has put LAUFEN in The World of Interiors, Wallpaper*, House & Garden, Elle Decoration and Livingetc, as well as kbbreview, Architecture Magazine and Sleeper.
Where LAUFEN is now
More than 400 pieces of coverage since 2022 and coverage in every month of 2026 so far, with a steady presence in the design titles that matter to a brand that is specified as much as it is bought.

Multiliving Scavolini Store
A family-run kitchen showroom, given a public voice through its co-founder, Brani Hadzhi.

Where Multiliving Scavolini Store started
Multiliving has been designing kitchens in north London since 2003, and is the UK's flagship showroom for the Italian brand Scavolini. It came to us at the end of 2025 with a strong portfolio of projects and a move to a new Hampstead showroom ahead. The brief was to support that move and to build Brani Hadzhi, its creative director and co-founder, into a designer the press would call on for comment.
What we did
We started with Brani: a media bio and a tone-of-voice guide, so her comment reads like her, then a steady flow of expert comment to the kitchen and interiors titles on everything from taps and handles to storage, lighting and the soft kitchen trend. We placed her own kitchen, in a 19th-century cottage, as an exclusive with Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms, and have released a new project story most months since, from a Crowthorne family kitchen to a Mill Hill townhouse. When the showroom moved to Finchley Road, we announced it to the trade.
Where Multiliving Scavolini Store is now
More than 25 pieces of coverage in the first eight months, with coverage in every month since February 2026. Brani is now a regular voice in Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms, Livingetc and House Beautiful, with six print features in KBB alone, and the new Hampstead showroom has been covered across the kitchen trade press.

KBSA
A trade association with no product to sell, and an industry it needs to be heard by.

Where KBSA started
The KBSA (Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association) represents independent kitchen, bathroom and bedroom retailers across the UK. It came to us in July 2025 with a different kind of brief. There is no product to launch or photograph. The job is to show the trade what the association stands for, keep its members' achievements in the news, and give its board a credible voice on the issues independent retailers face.
What we did
We run the KBSA press office across the trade press, from kbbreview and KBN to BKU and KBBFocus. That means press releases on everything from new members to the Designer Awards, coverage of the annual conference and the Big Debate on charging for design, expert comment on the issues facing independent retailers, and a monthly thought-leadership column in KBN, written with KBSA board members and member retailers.
Where KBSA is now
160 pieces of trade coverage in 14 months, with coverage in every single month, and 37 press releases issued. The KBSA is now a regular, recognisable presence in the titles its members read, and its board members are quoted on the issues that matter to independent retailers.
